| On May 31, from Atlanta's Hartsfeild International Airport, 22 Munford Baptist members left for Mwanza, Tanzania. Our 10 day mission was underway, traveling to a foreign continent to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After our 56 hour adventure to Mwanza, we were ready to go to work. In addition to powerful field evangelism, visiting villages and local schools our main focus of the mission trip occurred in the afternoons with the are wide Crusades. Months and Months of planning and prayer by host Pastor. Augustine Mpemba brought 6,000 people every night to the 6 day crusade. For our mission team this was a powerful display of Gods love and his power! Powerful worship and preaching before a nightly crowd of people resulted in over 6,000 men, women, boys, and girls coming to know Christ as savior. In addition to all the conversions, we were able to minister to existing church's, and various ministries in Mwanza. Our 10 days together serving the Lord in Africa revealed many things to our heart. We should be very thankful for Munford Baptist and what God is accomplishing through our obedience. We also mission trip if the work is not being accomplished in their own backyard! We saw that the people of Africa are hungry for the power of God. Plans are in the works for a return trip in June of 2007. Are you ready to get involved? Little is Much When God is in it!
